As a kid, I was carrying bags of extension cords to my dad’s band’s gigs as soon as I was more or less mobile, and in the years since, I’ve performed in musical revues, pit bands, choirs, jazz combos, and rock groups. I’ve appeared live at such iconic venues in Chicago as the Double Door, the Green Mill, Martyrs’, Schubas, and the Laugh Factory, as well as on legendary kiddie dance show Chic-a-Go-Go.
Some of my favorite singers include Jackie Cain, Björk, k.d. lang, Sammy Davis Jr., Mark Eitzel, Scott Walker, and Alex Turner.
