I am a singer and keyboard player and have performed at such venues in Chicago as the Double Door, the Green Mill, Martyrs’, Schubas, the Laugh Factory, as well as on legendary kiddie dance show Chic-a-Go-Go.

My most recent project is the soundtrack to Gene Kannenberg Jr.’s abstract/asemic comic Qodèxx:

As a kid, I was carrying bags of extension cords to my dad’s band’s gigs as soon as I was more or less mobile, and in the intervening years I’ve performed on stage as an actress in musicals and musical revues, in pit bands, with choirs, with jazz combos, and as the frontwoman for rock groups.

Here’s a selection of the work I’ve done with bands Pet Theories and Tiny Magnets and at the Bloom School of Jazz:

And here’s some footage of me singing a sad-bastard version of the classic Dion song “Runaround Sue”:

Some of my favorite singers include Jackie Cain, Björk, Sammy Davis Jr., and Mark Eitzel.
